Noble Riot Dance Theatre is committed to creating and maintaining a Safer Space. This includes but is not limited to demonstrating and creating an environment that is unified, respectful and inclusive for all individuals.
We will not tolerate harassment or discrimination at anytime within our organization or any space we encounter. We are committed to ensuring that participants of any event or activity feel respected and safe no matter their gender identity, disability, religion, age, race, or national or ethic origin. We are an environment that supports human dignity and respect.
One of our core values is to make dance accessible and to remove barriers that may otherwise prevent people from attending shows that are in a theatre setting and at a cost. With this in mind, for our upcoming shows we will offer:
Artistic Director Kayla Henry is committed to ongoing training and education to ensure these policies are maintained and up to date. She has so far completed the "Bystander Intervention to stop anti-Asian/American and xenophobic harassment” hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice and Hollarback.
NRDT is happy to answer any questions about the Safer Spaces Policy. We are open to receive feedback at anytime as to how we can better achieve and accomplish these important goals.
This policy applies to anyone involved in any NRDT event. Including but not limited to employees, guests artists, contract workers, audience members, and anyone attending our events, activities or workspaces.
